Research Interests
Since the appointment of my current position as assistant research professor at CU Anschutz in 2021, with my involvement in dry eye research and the recent emphasis on upstream drivers of differences in health outcomes, I am intrigued by the challenging task to identify multi-level, multidimensional barriers to accessing eye care by dry eye patients and how those inequities lead to unfavorable prognosis of dry eye.
Coupling with my expertise and experiences in evidence synthesis, my long-term career goal is to generate and dissemination quality scientific knowledge that can be further translated into clinical practice or public health policies.
With the strong support from the collaborators in the team and the rich resources provided by the Department and the University, I am optimistic about the positive contributions made from the proposed work.
