Research Interests

My research interests mainly are centered on care of children in the pediatric cardiac ICU, including ways to better care for our population by improving quality and assisting others in enrolling patients in clinical trials.

Clinical Interests
My clinical interests include care of neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients with congenital heart disease before and after cardiac surgery,children with heart disease requiring critical care, and outpatient evaluation of children with possible or known heart disease.

Personal Interests
My personal time is mainly spent with my teenage children and their myriad of activities. We have a dog and a horse which round out our family!

I mainly volunteer at my kids' schools and also at our church. I have also volunteered at a local horse rescue with my daughter.
