Research Interests
Internationally recognized as an expert on Kawasaki disease and immunization, Dr. Glod? frequently presents at local, national, and international conferences. She is involved in clinical vaccine trials and pursues clinical studies of the etiology, epidemiology, and therapy of Kawasaki disease. She has published over 150 journal articles, abstracts, and book chapters on pediatric infectious diseases. Dr. Glod? has participated in numerous national advisory committees for the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the National Institutes of Health. Her major areas of scientific interest include Kawasaki disease, the development of new pediatric vaccines, and residency education.
