Research Interests

My research interests focus on improving the quality, value, and patient-centeredness for older adults with cardiovascular disease. Additionally, I am interested in developing novel healthcare delivery strategies to improve cardiovascular care. My current research involves developing and implementing an evidence-based, patient-centered decision aid to help patients decide whether to undergo coronary angiography and revascularization versus medical therapy for chronic coronary disease. Additional research interests include cardiovascular outcomes, quality of care, patient-reported outcomes.

Clinical Interests
My primary clinical interest is in caring for older adults with cardiovascular disease.

Care Philosophy
As a cardiologist, I am committed to providing patient-centered care that prioritizes both evidence-based treatment and individual needs. I believe that cardiovascular care should be a partnership, where patients' voices, preferences, and values are incorporated into treatment decisions. While extending life is a critical aspect of cardiovascular care, I also recognize that optimizing symptoms and enhancing quality of life are equally important. I strive to help my patients not only live longer, but to live better. I believe in personalized cardiovascular care that supports individuals' life goals and overall health, using the latest medical evidence.

Personal Interests
Traveling, trying new foods/cuisines, hiking, skiing.
