Dr. Joseph Colarelli is an Academic Hospitalist and Proceduralist at the University of Colorado. His clinical and academic focus centers on 1) Vulnerable Populations: Providing high-quality, equitable inpatient care for underserved and immigrant communities in the Denver metropolitan area. 2) Procedural Expertise & POCUS: Integrating and teaching advanced point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) to drive rapid, bedside clinical decision-making and diagnostic accuracy. And 3) Medical Education: Mentoring and fostering the clinical competence and professional growth of medical students and internal medicine residents.
