Clinical Interests
I care for patients across all ages—from children to adults—managing a wide range of health needs in the hospital setting. I’m especially interested in caring for patients with serious or complex illnesses, including infections and tropical diseases. I’m passionate about supporting Spanish-speaking patients, refugees, and asylum seekers, and advancing health equity both locally and globally.

Care Philosophy
My goal is to provide care that honors the humanity of every patient, creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and respected. I hope to offer each patient my dedicated presence and empathy, drawing on experiences outside of medicine, living abroad, and navigating the healthcare system with my own family. I like to learn who my patients are—their family and friends, what they enjoy, and what is meaningful to them—while using my knowledge to empower them to make healthy choices that support them beyond the hospital and in all areas of their life and community.

Personal Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy surfing, going for long runs, playing basketball, painting, reading, and exploring new places—activities that keep me curious, active, and mindful.

Volunteer Activities
I’ve volunteered with organizations that reflect what matters to me, including mentoring teens with chronic illnesses at Camp YOLO and helping Spanish-speaking communities access care through Puentes de Salud in Philadelphia.

Public Speaking
Yes
Topics include tropical medicine, patient-centered communication, and refugee health.
