Research Interests

My research interests are focused on understanding the mechanisms that drive pulmonary vascular disease and right ventricular adaptation in pulmonary hypertension and chronic lung disease. My research program integrates human translational biology with clinical investigation to define how pulmonary artery endothelial cell dysfunction contributes to vascular remodeling and disease progression, and to identify the biological determinants of adaptive and maladaptive right ventricular responses across the spectrum of pulmonary hypertension.
