Care Philosophy
Dr. Jessi Phillips is a compassionate, Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon who was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She attended medical school in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson University where she graduated Cum Laude with distinction in clinical and translational research. Dr. Phillips remained on the East Coast to complete her surgical training at the prestigious Rothman Institute for Orthopaedics. After finishing residency, she completed a fellowship at Colorado Joint Replacement where she underwent advanced training in hip and knee replacement surgery. She is skilled at robotic joint replacement surgery and has a special interest in leveraging technology to enhance patient outcomes. Having expertise in direct anterior, anterolateral and posterior hip replacement surgery, she is passionate about tailoring her approach to optimize results. With an incomparable attention to detail, she also specializes in knee, partial knee and complex revision surgery. Dr. Phillips is dedicated to the advancement of her field through clinical research. She has authored over 60 publications and academic presentations. Further, she has received numerous research awards, including recognition from the Gates Foundation and Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Staying at the forefront of joint replacement research enables her to provide empathetic, state-of-the-art care to each patient. Dr. Phillips treats her patients as family. An invited member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, she has been recognized throughout her career for providing personable and thorough care. She has provided life changing joint replacement surgery during medical missions both nationally and internationally through Operation Walk. When she is not doing what she loves at work, Dr. Phillips enjoys painting, gravel biking, skiing and white water kayaking with her husband and two young children.
