Dr. Julia Dexter - a native of Albuquerque, New Mexico - is thrilled to be back in the West to train in gynecologic oncology at the University of Colorado. A non-traditional medical student, she came to medical school with an undergraduate degree in Women's Studies and a diverse employment history, including non-profit, fundraising, marketing, barista, wine shop, and a resale clothing store. She is looking forward to exploring Denver's thrift scene and the surrounding beauty of Colorado.
