Research Interests

My research interests are focused in novel approaches to weight management in different populations. My primary interest is in developing tailored and patient-centered approaches to weight management in transgender and gender diverse people, particularly as a means of decreasing health disparities and increasing access to gender-affirming surgeries. I am also interested in prevention of cancer recurrence through preventing and reversing weight gain that can accompany cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Clinical Interests
I am interested in providing comprehensive weight management care, with an emphasis on pharmacologic treatment of obesity. I am also interested in increasing access to gender-affirming surgeries for transgender and gender diverse adults, and provide weight management support for presurgical optimization, when necessary.
