Research Interests

My research is focused on how to improve the care of people who use alcohol and other drugs in primary care and other general medical settings. This includes conducting research on evidence-based drug testing, understanding the impact of alcohol and other drug use among people with HIV, and a recent focus on implementing patient-reported outcome measures in office-based addiction treatment.
