Research Interests

My research focuses on how alcohol and other substance use affect patients who are critically ill. I study substance-related illness in the ICU, explore new ways to treat alcohol withdrawal in the hospital, and develop tools to help patients make informed choices about treatment during recovery. My goal is to improve outcomes and support long-term recovery after critical illness.
