Research Interests

My research interests in the clinical space center on improving clinical care for vulnerable patient populations, with a focus on those experiencing incarceration and those with substance use disorders. Within education, I enjoy mentoring medical students, examining the balance of supervision and graduated autonomy in the clinical setting, exploring interactions of hospitalists and trainees, promoting peer to peer feedback, and supporting faculty development.
