Care Philosophy
Venessa has been practicing medicine since becoming a PA in 2009 in primary care setting with internal medicine and endocrinology experience. Venessa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Corban University in Salem, Oregon. She continued her education and earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies degree at Touro University Nevada in Henderson, Nevada. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants. She has extensive experience in primary care, family practice and internal medicine.
She is particularly interested in helping patients achieve wellness through nutrition, lifestyle modification and preventative medicine. She believes treating patients as a whole, physically and mentally.
Personal Interests
Venessa was born and raised in Leadville, Colorado. She worked in Temple, Texas for 3 years after graduating PA school. She was excited to move back to Colorado in 2014. Originally from the mountains in Colorado, Venessa enjoys hiking and biking in the summer. Of course like any true mountain girl, playing in the snow in the winter with her family.
