Clinical Interests
My many clinical interests include anesthesia for and the care of pediatric trauma patients, novel acute post-op pain management techniques, and anesthesia for kids with congenital cardiac disease for non-cardiac surgeries.

Care Philosophy
Any time a child needs anesthesia, it can be a stressful and scary experience–but I don’t think it has to be. I always remember that while surgeries and procedures ranging from minor to major are routine for our team, it isn’t routine for our patients and their families. I believe in a comprehensive plan of preoperative preparation, carefully orchestrated intraoperative care, and postoperative pain management appropriate for everyone. Every day is an opportunity for us to turn major life events of the kids we care for into a positive experience and improve their overall health.
