Clinical Interests
Neurology is the most interesting field in medicine, and I enjoy seeing patients with a wide range of neurologic issues, in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I see children and teenagers with a wide range of diagnoses including developmental delay, cerebral palsy, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, migraines, tics, intellectual disability, epilepsy, stroke, neuro-immune mediated disease, and neurocutaneous syndromes. I am grateful to serve as the neurology medical director of Children’s Hospital Colorado’s neurofibromatosis program.
Care Philosophy
I am truly fortunate to have such a fun and rewarding career at one of the top children’s hospitals in the country. My goal is to provide comprehensive neurological care for every child and teenager I care for. I enjoy learning about my patients’ neurologic symptoms, arriving at a unifying diagnosis, and offering any strategies, interventions, or treatments to improve quality of life. It is so fun to see my patients grow and thrive and I always focus on fostering a fun and active childhood. I also work closely with our bright residents and really enjoy teaching.
