Research Interests

My research interests are largely focused on the impact of critical care hospitalizations on family members, specifically evaluating prevalence of stress related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and depression as well as designing and implementing interventions to reduce these symptoms. Additionally, applying my mixed methods expertise, I research medical education particularly focusing on both the cognitive load of ICU rounds and different mechanisms of teaching bronchoscopy to fellows
