Clinical Interests
I joined the University of Colorado Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a full time OB/Gyn Hospitalist in 2018. I perform approximately 300 deliveries per year at the Anschutz Campus labor and delivery. I am physician who is skilled at caring for difficult pregnancies, labors, surgeries, and postpartum issues. I love working as part of a team and am passionate about medical education and serve as both the Fellowship Director for the OB/Gyn Hospitalist program as well as the Associate Program Director the for the Ob/Gyn Residency. Quality care and patient safety are driving factors in my clinical practice.
Care Philosophy
As an OB Hospitalist, I know the importance of building fast rapport and trust with my patients. I chose to become and OB Hospitalist because I love to care for patients in some of their most joyous moments, but am also humbled to be there for some of the hardest. I value my patient's ideals and preferences and love working within those priorities even in the most acute situations.
