Obesity/weight management, acute illnesses, chronic disease, diabetes, and preventive care. In addition to generally treating patients through all stages of life – infants, children, adults, and seniors – also provide skin care services, biopsies, joint injections, and gynecology services. Hepatitis C treatment, PrEP prophylaxis.
Care Philosophy
Dr. Kramer is a highly experienced primary care physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado, Anschutz where he has served as a primary care physician since 2017. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and Board Certified, specializing in obesity management and metabolic disease. His research interests are focused on obesity, nutrition, diabetes care, and metabolic disease. He has been an active participant in obesity research, with a particular emphasis on integrating obesity education and treatment into primary care. He has provided physician coaching on obesity care and nutrition, aiming to bridge the gap in physician education and ensure that patients receive high-quality care. He is an advocate for obesity care and has actively participated in the Obesity Care Continuum and the Obesity Medicine Association. He continues to promote obesity care at the state and federal legislation levels, in addition to co-founding the Colorado Obesity Society.
