Clinical Interests
I thoroughly enjoy my role as a family practice physician assistant. This field has always been appealing to me because primary care is frontline for creating positive changes to patients’ health and preventing chronic disease. I came into my role as a physician assistant after volunteering on medical missions internationally. It was during those missions that I saw that the biggest determinant of longevity and health is preventative medicine and access to care. I continue to volunteer on international missions, but now put most of my energies into my career and my patients that are living and working in my community.

Personal Interests
I love being outside any time of year, especially in the beautiful Colorado mountains, hiking with my dog or skiing! I love family time, and especially love Avalanche hockey games!

Volunteer Activities
My biggest passion is to volunteer on international medical missions at least every other year: through these trips, I have helped on primary care medical teams in Kenya, Ecuador, Haiti, and Dominican Republic. I have volunteered with 9 Health Fair since graduating from physician assistant school. I also serve as a juvenile diabetes mentor for Juvenile Diabetes Association.
