Clinical Interests
My clinical interest focuses on the management of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. This includes management of insulin pump therapy, insulin regimens, and oral medications with a large focus on patient education. Because I have many years of experience working with the oncology population, I have a particular interest in managing high blood sugars secondary to oncology therapies such as steroids and certain cancer drugs. I also manage hyperthyroidism secondary to Graves disease, toxic adenoma, and toxic multinodular goiter.

Care Philosophy
I believe in a patient-centered, individualized, and holistic approach to care. The provider-patient relationship should be collaborative in order to foster trust and promote successful outcomes. My goal is to empower my patients with the tools necessary to self-manage their health and optimize their quality of life.

Personal Interests
I love hiking with my dog, going to the mountains, skiing, and traveling. I've traveled to South America, Thailand, Taiwan, Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy. Most of all, I love spending quality time with friends and family.
