Clinical Interests
My clinical interests include treating a variety of sports medicine conditions including sprains, strains, fractures, and concussions. I have a special interest in injury prevention and in caring for gymnasts, especially since I was a former level 10 gymnast and judge for collegiate gymnastics. Although my background is in gymnastics, I also enjoy treating all young athletes so that I can get them back to sport as quickly as possible, but also as safely as possible! This includes making sure we take care of each athlete's injury itself, but also making sure nutrition, sleep, and other stressors are addressed when necessary.

Care Philosophy
I believe it is important to provide open communication with patients and their families. Patients should have full understanding of their diagnoses and the plan of care after a visit, and they should feel welcome to ask questions at the appointment and afterwards. Each patient and his or her family has individual needs, especially based on their sport and unique injury. I want to help each athlete get back to doing what they love, whether that is gymnastics, soccer, dance, tennis, or just being a kid!

Personal Interests
In my free time, I enjoy all things related to gymnastics, working out, reading non-fiction, and trying new restaurants. I am also trying to become better at skiing and mountain biking. I love spending time with my son, daughter, and husband in Denver and in the mountains!

Volunteer Activities
I am active in outreach education by giving lectures on sports medicine topics, especially for the gymnastics community. I am also the team physician for Elizabeth High School and provide medical coverage for various sports events in the Denver area. I am a medical provider for US Figure Skating and USA Gymnastics.
