Care Philosophy
In pediatric anesthesia, I provide the best care that I can with the simplest technique(s) possible to maximize patient and family satisfaction while minimizing the risk for complications. In management, I am a Solutions Finder (Bill Taylor, Harvard Business Review) striving to achieve incremental results and concrete solutions through the hidden genius of my colleagues and the collective genius that surrounds the School of Medicine and Children's Hospital Colorado.

Personal Interests
I am an Air Force veteran, devoted husband and father of 6 children with 12 grandchildren who enjoys hiking, swimming and portuguese water dogs. Bronco, Avalanche, Nuggets and Rockies fan.

Volunteer Activities
Parent Teacher Association President, Global Health work, soccer coach.

Public Speaking
Yes
I speak on pediatric anesthesia, pediatric pain management, and health care policy as it relates to anesthesiology.
