Clinical Interests
By always encouraging her patients to ask questions and get involved in their evaluation and treatment plans, she believes she empowers them to take control of their health. This empowerment produces a trickle-down effect, whereby husbands, children, friends and coworkers see the benefits of being healthy and affect positive change.

Care Philosophy
Dr. Bastow prides herself in her attentiveness and listening abilities. When visiting a doctor, women can experience a lot of fear about symptoms, treatments or diagnoses. By listening to her patients and validating those concerns, Dr. Bastow thinks she, the patient and their family members are better able to work as a team toward a final goal of health and wellness.
