Research Interests

My research interests are centered on Pediatric to Adult Healthcare Transition, specifically nursing roles in health care transition planning (developed and validated the NR-HCTP (Nursing Roles in Health Care Transition Planning).and in system-wide approaches to improving care for adolescents and young adults and their families across the continuum from pediatric to adult care. Specific to patients with pediatric complex epilepsy, care models for a warm handoff between care settings, optimizing the Advanced Practice Provider role are a focus of interest.
