I carry out my clinical responsibilities as a pediatric pathologist at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where I provide diagnostic expertise in pediatric surgical and autopsy pathology with subspecialty expertise in pediatric lung disease. I provide comprehensive diagnostic service for infants and children with pulmonary disease by coordinating multidisciplinary approach through The Breathing Institute, Department of Pediatric Surgery and Colorado Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health. I have a career-long passion for understanding the mechanisms of lung vascular development and related disorders in order to develop novel strategies that could lead to earlier diagnoses, prevention, and potential cures for infants and children with pulmonary vascular disease.
