Clinical Interests
My clinical interests are centered on the care of patients with common and uncommon esophageal diseases such as Eosinophilic Esophagitis, other inflammatory conditions of the esophagus, gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus and Achalasia.
Care Philosophy
My care philosophy centers on fostering a collaborative relationship with patients, ensuring they feel heard and valued.
I am committed to integrating the latest research and evidence-based practices into my clinical work. By staying current with advancements in esophageal disorders, I can offer my patients the most effective and innovative treatment options.
I strive to provide holistic care that addresses not just the physical symptoms, but also the psychological and social impacts of these conditions.
I recognize that the complexities of esophageal disorders require a team approach. I actively collaborate with other gastroenterologists, surgeons, allergists, dietitians, psychologists, and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
I prioritize providing clear, accessible information about esophageal disorders, treatment options, and self-management strategies. By equipping patients with knowledge, I empower them to make informed decisions and actively participate in their care.
I am dedicated to lifelong learning and continuous improvement in my practice. This commitment ensures that my care remains relevant, effective, and aligned with the highest standards of practice.
Above all, I believe in the power of compassion. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and challenges. My goal is to treat every patient with empathy and understanding, recognizing the emotional weight that esophageal disorders can carry.
In summary, my care philosophy as an academic specialist in esophageal disorders is rooted in patient-centered, evidence-based, holistic care that prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration, education, continuous improvement, and compassion. Together with my patients, I aim to navigate the complexities of their conditions, fostering resilience and improving their overall well-being.
