Research Interests

My reserach activities are focused on investigating the underyling causes and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Specicially, I am interested in new blood vessel formation within the intestines (angiogenesis) and its contributions to gut inflammation.

Clinical Interests
My main clinical interest is in the medical and endoscopic management of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) including Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. The UCH Crohn's and Colitis Center utilizes a multi-disciplinary team of IBD focused clinicians and support staff (nutritionsit, social workers, and nurse clinical coordinators) to provide cutting edge care for our IBD patients.

Care Philosophy
Utilizing a multidisciplinary and comprehensive diagnostic approach combined with cutting edge treatment options, I strive to provide the best healthcare possible for my patients.

Personal Interests
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, snowboarding, and endurance sports such as triathlon, cycling, and long distance running.
