Research Interests

Dr. Abzug directs clinical research on patients with viral infections, infections in immunocompromised patients, and pediatric HIV infection. He is involved in national collaborative clinical trials of antiviral therapies, including studies of the National Institutes of Health Collaborative Antiviral Study Group and the National Institutes of Health International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Network.
