Research Interests

I work in translational medical research that investigates factors that regulate how arteries develop unstable complications that lead to atherosclerotic plaque progression. In particular I am working with another research lab that investigations the functions of a progenitor cell that is also present in human coronary arteries that can lead to artery inflammation or fibrosis.
