My research focus is in type 1 diabetes mellitus with 3 main foci: 1) women's health, 2) advanced diabetes technologies, and 3) complications.

My clinical interests focus on diabetes in general, and especially on diabetes topics related to women's health (including pregnancy, menses, and menopause), advanced diabetes technologies, and complications of diabetes.

Care Philosophy
I believe that I am a medical adviser to patients. As such, I work together with them to provide comprehensive care for their conditions that takes into account medical expertise, patient safety, and quality of life.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and eating great meals.
