Research Interests

I have a longstanding interest in determining the role of CD4+ T cells in the immunopathology of various autoimmune and pulmonary diseases. My current research is focused on determining what antigens stimulate T cells derived from the lungs of chronic beryllium disease and sarcoidosis patients. Efforts to describe T cell specificity may provide novel therapeutic targets.
