Clinical Interests
I would describe myself as a general cardiologist. I am comfortable treating a wide range of heart problems, including but not limited to: coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, atrial fibrillation, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and high cholesterol.

Care Philosophy
I want my patients to understand their medical issues and the treatment options, including lifestyle changes, necessary to control or cure them. I try to develop a treatment plan based on medical evidence, common sense, and compassion.

Personal Interests
I enjoy getting up to the mountains for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer. I like to exercise and try to do some every day, and I still play in the occasional rugby game. My other interests include cooking, photography, reading, and traveling.
