Clinical Interests
I am interested in hospital medicine and clinical pathways to reach best outcomes for children: common pediatric illnesses, such as flu and dehydration; infectious diseases of the blood, skin, lungs and kidneys; respiratory illness; chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and asthma; and recovery from surgery or injury.

Care Philosophy
I feel very honored to meet families and children in a very difficult time when their child is sick. I enjoy the relationship I establish with patients and their families in these circumstances, and it is always a joy to see kids get better and go home.

Personal Interests
I enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing, running, and walking my dog, Bandit.

Volunteer Activities
I volunteered for a week in Haiti May 2010 after the earthquake.
