Care Philosophy
Dr. Acharya has been practicing since 2005 and is board certified in both Hematology and Oncology. While she has a special focus on breast cancer, she is experienced in all areas of hematology and oncology. Dr. Acharya is deeply motivated by patient care, prioritizing individual goals and quality of life in her treatment approach. She believes in honest, open communication and strives to educate her patients while respecting their autonomy and personal values. Dr. Acharya stays current with advancements in technology and is proud to be part of the UC Health system, where she can combine the strengths of a university-based network with the personalized feel of a community setting. Previously, she led the cancer program at Littleton Adventist Hospital, serving as Chair of the Commission on Cancer and Co-Director of the Breast Program. She has also been recognized as one of 5280’s Top Oncology Doctors of 2025.

Personal Interests
Dr. Acharya is married with twin children. She loves adventures, travel, tennis and skiing. She has many other interests including music and outdoor recreation.
